The golf experience at Pinehurst is for golfers of all skill levels. You need not be a single digit handicapper to participate in the array of organized golf events on our world famous courses. You may participate as much, or as little, and at whatever level suits your fancy. Come on out and join the fun. You will not be disappointed!

PADGETT LEARNING CENTER WINTER CLOSING
As of Monday, December 19, the Padgett Learning Center will be closed for the remainder of December, January and February. There is still availability for lessons, club fitting and club repair. For those needs, please schedule an appointment in advance by calling the Main Golf Shop at 910-235-8152 or go to the golf registration counter for scheduling assistance. Any hole-in-ones should be reported at the golf registration counter.

2011 SCHEDULES
WALKING CLUB - Pinehurst Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7*
Walking Club is a program that encourages Members to walk and carry their bags during the Twilight Golf times. This is a Members only program. Members must first register with the Membership Office and receive a Walking Club Bag Tag. These tags are color coded to reflect the various membership levels and must be affixed to your bag in order to participate. Full Members enjoy this privilege at no cost, and Recreation, Social, and No. 7 Non-Resident Members have access for half of their respective golf fee. Members, when playing and taking part in the Walking Club on Pinehurst No. 6 or No. 7, must check-in at the respective golf shop. Pinehurst No. 1-5 require Recreation, Social, and No. 7 Non-Resident Members to check-in at the main Golf Shop. Members of full classification, who are taking part in Walking Club, may sign up directly at the respective starter houses. There are no tee times for this program. Simply show up at the first tee box, based on the schedule below. All play must begin from the first tee.

Walking Club is available seven days of the week. Please note that No. 6 is closed on Mondays and Wednesdays in the afternoon for maintenance. No. 7 is closed on Mondays.

Walking Club procedures for course No. 2 & No. 4:
PINEHURST NO. 2
Walking Club is available on Friday and Sunday during the months of September through the end of May.
PINEHURST NO. 4
Walking Club is available on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday during the months of September through the end of May.
During the months of June, July and August, No. 4 will be available for walking club Wednesday through Monday.
TWILIGHT GOLF - Pinehurst Nos. 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7*
During the year, Members of Pinehurst Country Club and their accompanied guests have the opportunity to play golf at a discounted rate. Twilight golf is offered to Members and their guests on Nos. 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7.* During this time, appropriate member cart and green fees will be offered at 50% off the seasonal rates. Tee times must be made by calling the Starting Tower - 910.295.3186 or the Pro Shop, day of play, at 910.235.8141. Please note that each Member must check-in at the Golf Shop Counter to register themselves and guests prior to play in order to receive the reduced pricing. All play must begin from the first tee. Walking Club hours begin 30 minutes after Twilight times; Walking Club participants will have preference at the first tee during the hour of Walking Club Times.

Making A Tee Time
Tee Times are equally divided between Members and Resort Guests on a daily basis. Member allocated tee times are listed on the calendar in the monthly Memberabilia and can be reserved 5 days in advance by calling the Starting Tower. (Please note that changes in the calendar may occur after publication)

Canceling A Tee Time
We ask that all golfers cancel their tee times well in advance if they are unable to play. Please either call 910.235.8297 which is our tee time cancelation line or email starting.tower@pinehurst.com. To cancel day of tee times please call the Pro Shop at 235-8141. We appreciate your assistance with ensuring if you can't make a tee time the tee time is canceled.
Special Tee Time Request
Requesting Advance Tee Times for Members and their Accompanied Out of Town Guests
A Pinehurst Member who is having guests from out of town (out of town is defined as outside a 50-mile radius of the club), may request to make tee times up to 30 days in advance. The Members should email their request to special.tt.requests@pinehurst.com. This request will take 3-5 business days before you receive a response. Please note the following:
1. Tee times obtained under this program come from resort allocated tee times only and are subject to availability. Member tee times are not available under this program. For example, if course No. 4 is a member course on the day requested, you may not make an advanced tee time on that course. You may make a tee time on course No. 4 under the normal five days in advance reservation system.
2. Requests for advance tee times more than 30 days in advance will not be accepted.
CART PROGRAMS
There are several ways a Member can check-in for golf as well as pay cart fees. Click below or contact the Membership Office for details.
Cart Coupon Book
The Cart Coupon Book allows Members to bypass Golf Registration and allows them to get a golf cart and check in for their tee time directly with the Starter utilizing a cart coupon. Cart Coupon Books may be purchased at the Main Golf Shop. Book of 10 $190.00 plus tax (Cart fee of $19 plus tax for each coupon)
Cart Lease Program
The Cart Lease Program is in place for those Members who play several rounds a week. It allows Members to bypass Golf Registration and allows them to get a golf cart and check in for their tee time directly with the Starter. If you are interested click here to fill out the Pinehurst Cart Lease Application and return it to the Pinehurst Membership Office.
Single $1,918.00, Joint $2,836.00 Applicable sales tax will be charged on fees.
Private Cart Program
The Private Cart Program allows Members to own their own personal golf cart. Currently there is a wait list to join this program. If you are interested click here to fill out the Pinehurst Private Cart Wait List Form and return it to the Pinehurst Membership Office.

ESTABLISHING A HANDICAP
A handicap may be established by visiting the Main Golf Shop. At Golf Registration a staff member will sign you up with a handicap number. If you have a handicap at another Club be sure to let them know so they can link the two together or load your existing scores into the system (Please note some handicap systems are unable to be linked together). The cost for this is $24 annually and will be billed to you through your member statement. If you are planning to join any of the organized golf organizations you will need to have a Pinehurst handicap.

Caddie Information
Caddies may be reserved on any of Pinehurst's courses by contacting Caddie Masters at 910.235.8149. Both caddie and forecaddie services are available. Walking caddies Bag Fee: $50.00 per bag (caddies double bag) Recommended Caddie Gratuity: $25 per bag, or more for superior service. Forecaddies Bag Fee: $25.00 per bag Recommended Forecaddie Gratuity: $15.00 per bag, or more for superior service.
Club Storage
The annual fee of $105, golf club storage and handling services are provided adjacent to the golf cart storage area. Arrangements can be made by contacting the Club Storage attendants where carts are picked up.
Locker Rentals
Locker room facilities and shoe shine services are available in the lower lobby of the Members Club. Please see the locker room attendant, Albert Ray or Cherie McLeod, for rental information. Men's Locker Room 910.235.8108 or Women's Locker Room 910.235.8109. Annual Locker Rental Fees are: $120; Daily Rental: $2; Weekly Rental: $5.
Shoe Shine Services
Shoe shine services are available in all Locker Rooms. Attendants will be happy to clean and polish all shoes including: tennis, golf and dress shoes. Minimum charge for cleaning and polishing shoes is $3. Spikes replacement can be an additional $12 for a full set of new soft spikes.
